Being employed isn’t just about making money - For many, employment is tied to a sense of autonomy, well-being and purpose in life.
Often, it’s easiest to learn from examples of others who have paved the way before us. For this reason, we’ve included a large range of video examples from families across Australia (and a couple of international examples). As you will hear in these stories, many of these people have learnt from others, and we encourage you to do this as well.
Many of the resources featured here were developed as part of the ‘School To Work’ project, a collaboration between CRU, Family Advocacy and Imagine More (2020-2025). As part of this project, CRU delivered a series of webinars and developed a series of Fact Sheets on Inclusive Employment, which are also available in Simplified Chinese, Arabic and Vietnamese.
