The NDIS: Getting Informed – Rockhampton Workers
June 12, 2017 @ 9:00 am - 11:30 am
The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) is a new way of supporting people with a disability in Australia. The scheme will start to roll out in the Rockhampton region from 1st January 2018, with people being contacted from July 2017 to begin the access process.
This introductory workshop provides information relevant to families and people with a disability about the why, when and how of the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) in Queensland, and things they can do now to get ready.
This session recognises the important role that service providers and workers have in assisting people to prepare and transition to the new scheme.
Please register your details to attend as places are limited.
Light refreshments will be provided.
