CRU is one of nine organisations around Queensland that have been funded as part of the Queensland Government’s NDIS Participant Readiness strategy.
Our focus is to assist people with disability and their families to be better prepared for the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) as it is implemented in Queensland between mid-2016 and mid-2019. We are covering the Brisbane, Central Queensland and South West Queensland regions.
Please note that CRU will continue some of its other work state wide and so will continue to visit the other four regions – just not as part of this strategy.
CRU is currently developing new content for these workshops and they shall commence in February 2015. Our full day workshops will be known as “Taking Charge of Change – what will it take to be ready for the NDIS?“.
There will soon be more information on our website about what we are doing and how people with disabilities and their families can register to attend. In the meantime, feel free to sign up to our mailing list so that you will be sure to receive information directly.
This project is funded by the Department of Communities, Child Safety and Disability Services and will run until June 2016.
